From Santa Barbara Mission, drive down Laguna St. three blocks to the first stop sign. Turn right onto Mission St. and go one mile to Highway 101. Proceed south on 101 3.5 miles to Hot Springs exit (left lane). Turn left on Hot Springs Rd. and go 3.2 miles to Mountain Dr, Turn left on Mountain Dr. and go 0.2 miles to the trailhead, which is on the right side and marked by a sign. Total distance from Santa Barbara Mission 8.1 miles.
