Trails to Aliso Canyon and Upper Oso Campground start from this trailhead.
From Santa Barbara Mission, drive 0.7 miles toward the mountains. At the first stop sign, turn left on Foothill Rd. and go 3.0 miles to the junction with Highway 154. Turn right on 154 and drive 10.1 miles, going over San Marcos Pass, to the junction with Paradise Rd. Turn right on Paradise Rd., go 4.5 miles, enter Sage Hill Campground on left side of road. Drive 0.7 miles to extreme upper right corner of campground and park. Total distance from Santa Barbara Mission is 19.0 miles.
