From Santa Barbara Mission, drive 0.7 miles toward the mountains. At the first stop sign, turn left on Foot hill Rd. Continue 3.0 miles to Highway 154. Turn right on 154 and drive 21.8 miles to Armour Ranch Rd. - - just after crossing the Santa Ynez River bridge. Turn right on Armour Ranch Rd. and go 1.4 miles to the intersection with Happy Canyon Rd. Turn right, and go 14 miles to Cachuma Saddle Station. Bear to the right and go 4.2 miles to Davy Brown Campground. Turn left into the campground and drive down to the Davy Brown creek and park. Total distance from Santa Barbara Mission is 45.2 miles.
